I followed pretty much every link on realignment posted including frank and mrsec, at that point everyone was guessing.

Pretty much true except for this guy on Frank who was posting MD stuff all the way. Even came back as an alter and took tons of crap from most everybody on that blog. I still think he was somebody high up at MD because pretty much what he said actually happened with the Terps. After it all went public he / she stopped posting.

Also there was some guy on there with Notre Dame stuff now and again. Seemed like much of what they said early on came to pass for the Irish including the ACC deal. I still wonder if both were already in the know and testing the waters for public reaction. The worst of all of them tho was the guy from West Virginia called the dude. Pretty universal he was the worst.

Problem is it could still just be guess work, and not insider info, again, the blind squirrel principle.

Some guy on an MU board called TTraider kept coming in with supposed insider info, I think he later admitted he was mostly just going by a vague rumor he picked up here and there. And yes, thedude was awful.

The northwestern guy was good at pulling additional variables into the equation, but had he been right, the Nubs would never have been accepted into the Ten.

I still get great amusement from people who suggest Mizzou would leave the SEC if the Ten came sniffing, that one's always good for a laugh.
