The problem is he's not OLB. Not athletic enough. And he's small for a lineman.

Also I think it's worth mentioning, bc everyone seems to point to his sack production, that 9 of Sam's sacks last year came in only 3 games. ASU, Vandy and Florida. While that's three very good games, that also leaves 11 other games where he really didn't blow people away on the field.

Once you get past the 3rd rd you get into these sorts of trade-offs w/ everyone. Has the size but not the athleticism, injury history, off the field concerns, scheme fit, too slight, etc.
