Define elite. They've finished ranked in the top 10 twice in the last 5 seasons.

That's an odd definition of 'elite'.

I prefer this one:

Win % since 2005:

1 Boise State 0.85593
2 Ohio State 0.80769
3 Louisiana State 0.79832
4 Oregon 0.79487
5 Oklahoma 0.77500

Or this one:

Win % since 2000:

1 Boise State 0.85635
2 Oklahoma 0.81818
3 Ohio State 0.79042
4 Louisiana State 0.78142
5 Texas 0.77778

Is anyone going to be surprised when Saban gets a brick thrown his window and the SMU Express gets cranked up again?

Which would mean teams like Boise State, Ohio State, and Texas are more elite than Alabama.

Which pretty much makes you a window licker.
