At least he knows which SEC teams are important and which teams are not
quote:
There's no taking away anything that LSU and Alabama and Auburn recently have accomplished. They've been phenomenal. My take is to say, 'OK, the rest of us are playing our conference. We're playing nine out of 12 teams in our conference. Why can't you do the same thing?

Lets look at conference expansions for both the Pac-12 and the SEC a few years ago.
PAC-12 additions records since joining the league:
Colorado 5-19 (2-16)
Utah 10-14 (5-13)
SEC additions records since joining the league:
Texas A&M 20-6 (10-6)
Missouri 17-9 (9-7)

Their nine game conference schedule equals a three game SEC schedule bunch of shaved cooters.

USC, Stanford, and Oregon are all playing 9 conference games along with big OOC games. USC is continuing their rivalry with Notre Dame in the future as well. I just don't understand why we can't do the same. It's the best way to keep rivalries and travel to other SEC schools. Especially with the new College Football Playoff in place that won't hurt SEC teams for having an extra loss potentially. There will always be at least one SEC team in the playoff and I think being the best conference is not an excuse to only play 8 conference games.
