AU claims to have 200,000 living alumni. 60% of Auburn students are from Alabama, this number is WAY lower than in the past. So 60% of 200,000 is 120,000.

This is kind of weak, but I'm guessing you don't have all the data you'd like to have.

My contention was that you claimed to have proven something you hadn't even given me a point of reference for. I still don't think your analysis is especially valid, but again, I acknowledge you're having to transpose stuff to get working numbers. So I'll accept 18% as a baseline to use.

I don't but I was trying to be generous to AU. Even the most generous number is not going to top 20%.

Even if I said all 200,000 living Auburn alums lived in the state of Alabama you are still looking at 668,960 AU fans living in the state so even the most generous number would put the alumni percent of the fan base at 30%. Nowhere close to a majority and not in the ballpark of vast majority.
