Terrible to hear about the swimmer from Tupelo in Tuscaloosa. I'm from Tupelo and living in Starkville, family is safe but lots of damage.

John's dad is a good friend of mine. I heard the news at breakfast this morning. John was a really nice kid.
My home and work were both spared, but the devastation in my neighborhood is widespread. We were hoping for no bad news from friends and neighbors. Did not think it would come from Tuscaloosa. Sad.
