What's helping us more than anything is the turnover in the SEC East. I expect Vandy, UGA, USC, and Mizzou all to take a slight step back. You HAVE to think UF will be better, but who really knows.

More than a handful of teams are breaking in new QBs this season, which is always a bit scary.

That's what makes it possible. There really is no East game that is an auto L although @UGA and @SC are close.

I just wish we could catch a break with our schedule to help us get some positive momentum going soon. We sure as hell know our fanbase isn't patient or realistic even.

You'd have a point about USC were it not for the fact that our running game should be scary good behind a very good, and deep and talented, offensive line. And the fact that Thompson is a solid, experienced and capable passer and field general.

I do believe the Vols will go bowling this season though. You will be improved.
