Mine are close to -6.00 in both eyes. Not enough astigmatism to matter.

Near sighted. The higher (or more negative) the number, the worse it is. I've broken numerous pairs of glasses by knocking them off the nightstand, and then stepping on them in the morning because I couldn't see them.
