The only thing I give a damn about are the games.
Because people buy it, read/watch it, and talk about it.
If there wasn't a market for the story-lines and subplots, they wouldn't sell.
See Deadspin, ESPN 30 for 30, and media coverage for any/every off-field scandal you can name.
And folks like to see others fail.
