You were putting out numbers (facts), so I did too. My biggest issue with Ark is the 4 series losses regardless of who they're against: LSU, State, Florida, and South Alabama. Nothing to be ashamed of, but it's still a high amount. Bama has two: Ark and ULL and both of them were earlier in the season. We're talking "Power Rankings" here so trend is just as important. I'm not arguing that they will fall off once the schedule gets tougher, but we can't presume anything about those games. For all we know Ark could go 4-8 to finish just as easily as Bama could go 8-4.

So, it doesn't matter who a team plays? Okay.....ignore the fact that Arkansas has played the 2nd most top 50 teams in the league, which is 5 more than Alabama.

Sure Arkansas has lost series to LSU, Florida, and State. Of those 6 losses, 4 were by one run and one of those was a walk off in game two of a series.

There is a three game difference in Alabama and Arkansas. That slim of a margin is the difference in scheduling,,,,While Alabama has played Auburn, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Kentucky, and Ole Miss.....Arkansas has had to deal with Florida. South Carolina, LSU, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, and a series win over Alabama. Every league team Arkansas has played has been ranked. Five of those in the top 13.

Arkansas being 9-9 at this point is more impressive than Alabama being 12-6, when comparing league competition.

Yes, these are power ranking and trends are considered, but so is your level of competition. Over the last 3 weeks Arkansas has gone 6-5 against teams all ranked inside the top 17 of polls.

Alabama hasn't played a ranked opponent in three weeks, while Arkansas has played South Carolina, UNLV, LSU, and Vanderbilt.
