I know there are many Christians who disagree with this view, but they would also disagree with the scripture which says pretty much the exact same thing: we are not God; we are God's creation, and God can do with us as He wills.

We didnt create cattle, we domesticated them. Cattle arent our self proclaimed special creation. Cattle arent sentient beings. Cattle dont go to cattle hell when we kill the,.

Our relationship to God is nothing like our relationship to cattle if God exists. You worship a God that creates people solely to punish them forever.

But what you are forgetting is that though God has every right to "slaughter" every single one of us, He chooses not to. Instead, He sent His only Son to die a death He did not deserve so that we who deserve death should not receive it, but live eternally. There are two sides to the coin of God, but you only want to focus on one side in an effort to dismiss Him entirely. You are actually a good case study for the depravity of man and the enmity that man has against God, just as the Bible states. But I suppose we all are.

Every religious text in the world says there will be fools who dont believe it, yet you arent Hindu or Islamic. Of course the bible says we are depraved and need a savior, thats rhe whole point. Of course it says the nonbelievers have supressed a knowledge of the truth, what else is it supposed to says?

"Please believe this book and not those pesky nonbelievers, they've got some pretty good points and can be persuasive I know"

The cattle example was merely to demonstrate authority or subjection over other creatures. Humans can do whatever we want (in theory) with cattle because they are in subjection to us: we aren't accountable to them. We are in an infinitely superior position before God than the cattle are to us. We didn't create them, but God created us. Our authority over animals is finite, but God's authority over us is infinite.

But God shows mercy and love towards even His enemies who were created for His glory and who reject Him as Lord until the day they die and go to Hell. Every breath we take is a gift from God. Life, itself, is a gift, especially when compared to the torments of Hell. And even if God knows that you will reject Him until you die, He has blessed you with life and an opportunity to be saved through the gospel message. If you continue to reject it, then you have to answer to it.

I believe the totality of scripture, not just the parts where it condemns those who don't believe. I have read what it claims God has done through history and I believe it to be true. There's not really much else I can say to that point. I have read other religious documents and texts and I have heard what they believe and I don't believe it.

Fortunately for me (I guess), is that in pretty much every religion, I'm still OK and may even get another try next time around. Even in an atheistic point of view, I still don't have anything to worry about, because when I die, I won't even know it; I'll be nothing without any conscious thought because my brain would be dead. But if everyone else is wrong about the truth of the Bible, there is no hope for them.
