I made many of the points you made on the mizzou board last night. I'm messing with you in a very transparent way.

Outside of going out and spending the $$$ to hire a proven winner, Mizzou is in a four way stop on the road.
Turning right leads to the same results as Haith.
The left via hiring an unsuccessful up and comer/top assistant off "big names" staff leads to a further decline in the program.
Straight ahead leads to where Mizzou wants to be, this would be achieved by hiring a proven HC.
Arkansas was there after Heath was fired, we turned left.
The correct direction would had been taken after replacing the legend and going with who they though should replace them. For Arkansas that was Anderson who went on to be successful in rebuilding UAB and Mizzou.
Mizzou chose Snyder instead of a Norm guy.
Continuity helps keep programs on the right track compared to hiring an up and comer with a different philosophy. See: UCONN, hired an up and comer, but does basically the same thing as the previous staff.
aTm had plenty of opportunity to hire Buzz who would had continued what BCG had going outside of Melvin Wakins' players being on the roster.
Tennessee should of hired Boyle, now they are in a position where they won't pay what he's worth.
Doc Sadler would be a good hire for Mizzou, he turned Nebraska's program around and has been a good influence for Iowa St. He would have more resources available at Mizzou than any other spot he has been as HC. (County Line HS, Westark, UTEP, Nebraska).

Kim Anderson won a D-II Championship. Who gives a shite? Recruiting is a little different in the big leagues and he's already pushing 60, too old, too late.
Mizzou needs to find a young up and comer with fire and energy to revitalize the program, not some old man.

If we pay 3 mil for a homerun hire coach, won't we have to increase Pinkel's pay as well?
Considering most think of Mizzou as a basketball school and Pinkel isn't in a high demand for other jobs, probably not, or Mizzou could get away with it for a while.

There is no way Alden is going to pay 3mil and he absolutely would have to renegotiate Pinkel if he did

Does Mizzou require their HCs to have a degree?
If not you could go snag the great hire USF made a month ago.

Mostly they need a pulse, but we are not fanatical about it.
Plus we could always just give them a degree

I guess it would be transparent if I knew who you were on TigerBoard. Never realize you were fricking with me. At least frick with me in a transparent way so that I pick up on it. Otherwise...fail.

Doc Sadler:
Won with no talent. (County Line HS)
Was able to find over looked talent. (westark)
Was able to continue success at a program. (UTEP)
Was able to rebuild a program from scratch. (Nebraska)
Doc Sadler can do anything the Mizzou program needs starting from day one with the roster that remains from Haith, barring transfers.
Doc Sadler makes too much sense and would be a home run hire for Mizzou.

Trust me...this hire will come outta left field again and will make no sense. Alden will go out of his way to make a tornado out of the current rain storm.

I'm just saying Doc Sadler at a program like Mizzou would put the conference and nation on notice, hopefully Alden gets along with IUPUI's coach, whoever that is.

photobucket is free.
I use mine IRL, ask on the Arkansas board as some over there have accounts for this board.
I value my anonymity.
