If we use the Alabama fan premise that LSU football started in the year 2000, does that mean the only logo LSU has ever had is Toonces?
Yeah we didn't do anything before the year 2000 - Nothing......
Just #12 nationally all-time in # of NCAA victories, and #10 in bowl appearances, numerous Top 10 rankings, All-SEC and All-Americans, a Heisman winner, several SEC titles, and 5 National championships 1908,1935,1936,1962, 1958-(consensus.)
The only thing that has changed since 2000 is we are now #10 all-time in victories, #8 in bowl appearances, and we have 2 more Nattys.

Once you get outside the Top 7 or 8 you start to get into the second tier teams.
