Georgia's receiving corp is really underrated ESPECIALLY on this board.

I don't understand this. They were super underrated last year too until they straight up shredded USCe and LSU.

...and now they're forgotten again.

Probably because Murray was an incredible quarterback. He tended to overshadow the receivers by getting most of the credit.

It's ridiculous. They're all immensely talented, they all have stats, they all have circus catches. I think randomway nailed it with

this. When Murray was turning the ball over like crazy it was all on him and not the mediocre OL or lack of a running game. Suddenly when he excels it isn't anything to do with a stud receiving corp and great backfield.

We saw 4 years of Murray and we saw 2013 Murray w/ the starting WR corp and w/out them. The receiving corp makes all the difference. The QB is the catalyst. He's gotta find the guys and get them there but there is a reason UGA the past 2 years was one of the best in the nation in big plays.

Perfect example is UF in 2012. One could look at the statline and see Murray threw a TD to get Georgia up 17-9. But if one watches the game they see Murray was shell shocked the entire night and Malcom Mitchell made an incredible play.

Idk, I am just ranting now but the Georgia receiving corp is disrespected on this board perpetually. We may not have a star like DGB ) formerly, Treadwell, or Cooper (even though I'd argue Mitchell and Conley aren't far off their level) but what Georgia does have is a group of receivers that could start all over the SEC. Some of which aren't even starters at Georgia. You don't have to hone in on a star because all of them have potential for that circus grab and a lot of them have the potential to break 3 tackles and make UF's safeties collide into each other on the way in to the endzone for a 45 yd touchdown.
