Forgot about Gurshall. UGA may actually have a very good offense, I just have no clue who their QB is or what he is capable of.

It's Gurley, Marshall, and then Douglas + the new backs plus maybe Turman that are the bread and butter but Georgia's receiving corp is really underrated ESPECIALLY on this board. Before the injuries they were carving up Clemson's, USCe's, and LSU's secondaries and then it all fell apart after half of them got hurt vs UT. Mitchell, JSW, and Jay Rome will be healthy and Conley and Bennett return among many other talented guys like Reggie Davis and Jonathan Rumph.

That's where the optimism stems from. Mason doesn't have to be a world beater in order to succeed with that. Hell, Mason almost transferred several times during the Murray era and the reason he stayed is because Richt sold him on the supporting cast he'd have if he stayed.

As for how Mason is obviously he's not Guido fricking Football. He doesn't have the arm Murray did and he has a different style IMO. He's more of a high % guy who will excel in short, intermediate passes and he's getting better at the deep ball. He also runs the offense at a faster pace so this year UGA's no huddle will actually be a hurry up at times as opposed to run to the line and wait 30 secs to relay the play.

I don't understand this. They were super underrated last year too until they straight up shredded USCe and LSU.

...and now they're forgotten again.
