In the 1993 Sugar Bowl, Alabama's offense drove the length of the field on Miami a grand total of one time

Jay Barker had an astounding 18 yards passing. Of course Alabama's ground game produced 267 yards. Miami's only touchdown was on a kick return. Gino and Lamar got their asses kicked up and down the field all night long.

Probably one of the worst efforts I have even seen from a QB. 4 of 13 for 18 yards, 0 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions.

Miami actually out gained Alabama that night, 326 yards to 285 yards. Yet we still won by 21 points. That defense set our offense up in some good positions that night.

I won't ever forget Bama fans walking up and down Bourbon St. yelling Ginnnnooo - - - Ginoooo all night long. It was a glorious experience.

And two picks as I recall. He was definitely not an asset, and yet he's still riding that glory.
