People completely ignoring the injuries this team has suffered kind of makes me laugh.

No offense but if you cant point to the injuries and not attribute this slide to that instead of them being the "cubs" or burnout, or not being that good I dont know what yo tell you.

This slide is bad but the catalysts is an was injuries.

There is NO TEAM in the NHL that would be able to withstand losing 6 out of your top 9 forwards.

Thats two freaking lines.

Dont know, baring a miracle I think the team is toast in the playoffs and injuries are the critical reason for this.

Injuries absolutely are a part of this, but it's not the whole story.

I have been telling people all year the Blues are a regular season team and this would all come crashing down at the end. It sucks because now the injury thing is going to be used as an excuse (as it's a legitimate reason for the collapse), but the reality is the Blues were living off more than their means during the regular season. Work ethic and the type of 4 line team they are is perfect for winning night after night in the regular season. That gets cancelled out when teams play with playoff intensity.

6 of the top 9? That's not accurate, and most guys haven't missed extended time, and most of the time it hasn't been all at once. And signs of this slide have been going on for awhile, before the injury list grew to where it is right now.

The Blues have zero A+ forwards. They're like a rotation with no ace, just as most World Series contenders have co aces, true contenders for the cup have at least 2 elite world class players. Think Crosby, Malkin. Kane, Toews. Kopitar, Carter. Ect. The Blues don't even have one, let alone 2+ like all the other true contenders.
