I just get the feeling that Gator fans would rather be 9-3 with exciting offense than 11-1 with ball control offense and stout as a brickwall defense. I don't get it. I love watching defense and its exciting sometimes just as much as offense. Winning is also exciting and Ws make ball control more fun.

Believe me...I loved Spurriers offense in the 1990s...but look at him now...adjusting to read zones and run games more than ever. Remember that the team i98n college football that wins the rushing yardage battle wins 89% of the games and usually the 11% that don't win are because the total rushing yardage was very close, or turnovers skewed results and even sometimes a hailstorm of flags can offset rushing yardage.
