This amazes me too. His brother is just about to get to campus. There's a good chance DGB won't be with the team when Darnell gets here this summer.

I can't imagine that Pinkel is actually going to kick your star player and local favorite off of the team. The backlash from that would be extreme. Especially if it caused harm to your season.

I imagine he is either back for the beginning of the season after doing some summer "conditioning" or worst case scenario misses a couple of games at the start of the year.

I agree. Unless he is charged with some kind of felony he gets one last chance to get his shite together.

He gets reinstated, keeps his nose clean for 5-6 months, and gets jettisoned to the pros.

Pinkel doesn't tolerate violence against women well. Especially now, given some of the recent publicity. That said, we'll see what charges come down. If it's a felony charge for assault against a woman, he's gone. Felony charges are treated pretty consistently at Mizzou, if a player is charged and admits to yhr act, they're gone. Google Derrick Washington. If the charges are misdemeanors, he may get another chance. But given his precious arrests, I'd say he's on extremely thin ice.

My patience is about at an end with this kid. I don't care how good a player is, we don't need that headache.
