Abuse already occurs. Colleges already have pre-fabricated courses that athletes can take, designed to provide them with easy As.

I say, athletes should be required to state a major, and teams should reflect the general student population in terms of majors.

For example, if 70 percent of the general student population is enrolled in the college of Arts and Sciences, I expect to see a similar makeup of the athletic population.
