Good way to be overqualified for a mindless job that makes you six figures at 24 though.

High 5 figures out of school, actually. And you won't be 24, probably 26, not that it matters.

Pharmacists as we know them won't exist in ten years.

What's your outlook on anesthetists...I'd like to know what my future is going to look like...Should I update my IT Engineering resume?

Pharmacist average between 90k and 120k out of school.. these numbers are fairly easy to identify with a search and tend to parallel what my friends who are PharmD's made starting out ....some moonlight on weekends at private companies and make more.

They seem to really enjoy their jobs....not enough of an adrenaline rush for me and I can see how it might be a bit boring as I would imagine it lacks the dynamic complexity I've grown accustomed to.

Oncology is where the money is, but also very depressing. You couldn't pay me a million dollars a year to be an oncologist. 2 million, maybe, I'd do it a couple years and be done.

I have a feeling if you went through the trials and tribulations to become an Oncologist, you'd work for more than 2 years....imagine being a nurse or a doctor in a pediatric Burn unit....I can handle a lot of things, but kicking puppies and severely burned children aren't one of them...

You can do 2 years of undergrad and enter the pharm program at 20 making you 24 when you graduate. Not that's it's common but I definitely had friends at UGA do it.

And anesthesiologist is a tough thing to obtain...you need to get into med school and I'm pretty sure be at the top of your med class since it's one of the most desired residencies. I'm in dental school and the people who want to specialize in ortho or OMFS study 8 hours a day on top of class.
