The odds for a recruit re-committing after a decommitment usually don't favor the original school. Of course that's not always the case, as we saw with Moore and Mack last cycle but normally it's just awkward for both a school and player and they move on. It just depends on the nature of it like Farmer said. The Lodge recruitment with us last year is a perfect example of both sides melting down, lol.

A 24/7 poster today made a good point about Cleveland that just makes sense. Basically, Tyrie was-- for the most part--under the radar last year. People knew he was good, but people didn't see the potential outside of some film and such. We knew he was this good already, thus the early offer. But his recruitment just took off when they were able to do evaluations and everything. Then Beatty left. Then after the Dallas SPARQ combine where he pretty much dominated, he knew now he's a top 3 receiver in the state and can afford the luxury of being recruited with the best of them.

He still likes us a lot, but he's been listening to TCU, LSU, Houston, and a couple other SEC schools as well.
