There's a good opportunity to sample a bunch of the craft brews this weekend along with some crawfish. Its called Ales and Tails at the Fayetteville town center this Saturday.Tickets are online only. Here is the online description:
"On March 29, 2014 from 5-9 PM, the first annual Ales & Tails Festival will be held at the Town Center in Fayetteville. Ales & Tails Festival celebrates local and regional craft breweries and Louisiana crawfish. It is coordinated by the owners of local restaurants Jammin Java and Café Rue Orleans.
“Mud Bug Garden” Tickets are $25 each. Ticket holders will receive a wristband to claim a pound of boiled crawfish, beer samples, and a souvenir pilsner glass. Additional boiled crawfish may be purchased for $10 a pound.
“VIP” tickets are $45 each. Ticket holders will gain access to the main hall where they can sample numerous crawfish dishes prepared by local restaurants, including: Café Rue Orleans, Hammontree’s, Tyler’s House Catering, Early Bird Catering, Apple Blossom Brewing Company, Meiji, Z’s Brick Oven Pizza and Jammin Java. VIP ticket holders will also receive a wristband for access to the Mud Bug Garden to claim a pound of boiled crawfish, beer samples, and a souvenir pilsner glass.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the local ALS Association Northwest Arkansas Chapter. ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a fatal, neurological disease with no cure. This is a meaningful and worthwhile cause to the event creators as each have friends whose lives are affected by ALS."
