Nope. An Auburn fan on a message board took a troll post aimed at Cornhusker fans and changed "Nebraska" to "LSU".

I have no reason to doubt you. But I have decided to stand by my original understanding of the LSU/corndog origin and will defend it to the death, regardless of the truth of the matter asserted.
