If it wasnt self serving why does he want a systematic solution to resolve the problem? So does he want a rule that only Juniors can leave if they make the first round? come on, take off your blinders
And good lord stop acting so defensive. Do you really not think he wants to keep underclassmen for his own agenda?

Allowing juniors to wait until after the Combine and their Pro Day would fix a lot of this.

Like I said, there are examples of Saban advising players to turn pro early. You've got nothing more than an assumption to base this on, when the hard evidence staring back at you says otherwise.
If a kid is a first rounder, he tells them to go. If a kid isn't, he tells them to stay. A man looking out for his own agenda wouldn't tell his most talented players to head to the NFL.
Do I think he realizes it would help Alabama if some of these mid round projections came back? Sure. That doesn't mean he's only looking at it for personal gain though, because it's apparent he's trying to help the individuals as well. Don't know why that's so hard to comprehend.
If a decision is beneficial for two parties, why must you choose one and say "oh he just wants this because it helps him"
You act like it's impossible to have everyone's best interests in mind
