Cristil was hands down the best.

Naa, it's Munson and it's not close. Larry Munson was an artist and you could feel his arteries hardening and blood pressure rising with every snap of the ball.

Larry Munson...tGOAT

Cristil was too boring for me. He was so monotonous.

Jim Fyffe is up there just because he trolled the shite out of Gumps. I have Gump family who would actually turn down the radio when listening to Auburn games and his iconic "TOUCHDOWWWWWWN AUUUBURNNNNNN" holler.

Eli's "Touchdown, Ala-bama!" would be a lot cooler if he was a Southerner.

The thing about Munson was he was a TOTAL homer. he was GEORGIA's announcer. he was accurate in his description of the game, but it was very clear he was paid by UGA contracted Radio. didnt try to be neutral at all.

he was a great announcer though. An artist with words and his passion for the game and his knowledge. Really one of a handful of throwbacks. John Ward at UT was the same. I like to think of Fyffe at Auburn similarly though Jim didnt serve as long as Larry.

the SEC misses these guys. Respect all around.
