Correct observation. This is being pushed by the B1G and PAC as they play in weaker conferences with no crossovers in the first place. Claiming numerical equality without quality play equality is a sham and should be exposed as such.

SEC should stay at 8 + 1 instead of caving to ESPN and letting ESPN run the conference. With 8 + 1 it allows schools to determine what is best for their market. The 4 East schools (Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, and Kentucky) can retain their ACC games (and SEC supremacy in dual ACC - SEC state battlegrounds - FL, GA, S, and KY)

If the west schools want to follow the East lead, then let them pair with B1G, B12, or PAC schools for their +1 game.

Imagine the +1 rivals if the following were added OOC
Missouri vs Illinois / Indiana / Kansas / Kansas State rotation
Arkansas vs Oklahoma / Oklahoma State / Texas / TCU rotation
Texas A&M vs Texas Tech / Baylor / Nebraska / Oklahoma rotation
LSU vs West Virginia / Oregon / Washington / Utah rotation
Alabama vs Southern Cal / Stanford / California / UCLA rotation
