You are arguing guys who don't have real chances at jumping to the nfl shouldn't be starting. I am saying there are plenty of solid role players who aren't going pro/drafted early

Add Emory Blake to the list.

Adams left due to a combo of grades and family and wouldn't have been that high if he stayed another year anyways.

Obviously I want can't miss talent but not all 22 starters are going to be can't miss go pro after 3 or 4 year guys

Good lord.

I said after year 5, not 3 or 4. Quit moving the goal posts when your damn argument was about getting a sixth year of eligibility.

And your 5 key players span a decade and hundreds of players who suited up in an Auburn uniform.

Or the 4 span 7 years and almost two hundred players who signed scholarship papers for Auburn. And played on teams that averaged 4+ losses a season.

You recruit players to make an immediate impact. Not wait for them to maybe do something 4+ years later. There's a reason why Adams and Daniel were playing a lot more snaps than Carter. Why Lawson took over Equae and Delanies minutes. Why McKinzy is ahead of Swain. Why Holsey was ahead of Smith. Why Dismukes jumped Tunde.
