behind the Antlers it was entertaining me more than the game until 12:00 left. fricking event staff can't mind their fricking business while waiting outside I witnessed the Antlers creating their signs.

And #4, I kept asking myself with how short that little bastard was in the post why didn't we have any of our guards post up on him he was 5'0 maybe.

Absolutely embarrassing that our fans can't support our team, who cares if it's the NIT. I'm not asking for a sell out, but jesus look at it. Whoever bought the 500 tickets lost money that's for sure. Now watch, for the game this Sunday the athletic department will only give away 100 free tickets frick I said 47, make that 35

In all seriousness I'm extremely grateful for the fans who did come and support the team, Haith must feel like he never left Miami. The fan support the entire year has been dreadful, and it was nice of Haith to recognize the true fans who support Mizzou through tick and thin. We just need to find 13000 more like us for Sundays game, and remind Brown/Clarkson why they should stay for one more season, and make Haith believe he is wanted here @ Mizzou. I truly believe Haith is going to do great things here @ Mizzou because he works hard, and doesn't take small steps for granted. If it starts with an NIT championship (remind you not even Norm ever won one) hey it will be our first title in basketball, and a step in the right direction. God I want Haith to succeed so badly because he is extremely likeable with the how hard he works, and the works he does for the Boys and Girls Club in Columbia

I kind of waffled about going last night but didn't, mostly because after I put the kids to bed (4 and 1) I didn't want to drive out to a basketball game with an 8:00 tip. But I did listen on the radio and was pleasantly surprised with how Mizzou fought back when they got down 13 points in the 2nd half. As long as the Sunday tip off isn't super late I'll be there.

Incidentally I wonder how much money Mizzou lost on a game like that last night? I'm sure The NIT pays something but man, even with a skeleton crew out there they couldn't have had enough people to make much money back.

Nothing like the chance of finishing 69th.

Sorry but Haith sucks.

I don't give a shite if he is actually Santa Claus in his spare time, dude needs to go. The NIT is not good enough for this program and that is why people didn't show up, including me.

Call me a bad fan or whatever you want. I am a season ticket holder and TSF donor and travel multiple times a year to away games following Mizzou sports. I am going to let my absence and $$ do the talking here (although from what you said there wouldn't have been much to buy-ha). I am not going to drive down from KC to watch a piss poor coach try to drive on a team that typically plays with zero heart/desire.

All that being said, I am glad you went, and glad you had a good time.

Coaching mistake maybe? Frankly, Ross and even Brown at times, should have been doing this all year. Everyone talks about how big our guards are, but we rarely, if ever, took advantage of it.

Might be, after you add in the band, the cheerleaders, the teams, the staff, the cooks etc...

Relax man. It's the NIT and the quality of play on the floor isn't that good. It's like most things in life. Put a good product out there and people will show. As far as I'm concerned, the season ended with the loss in the SEC tourney. These games are more about practice and scrimmaging. Don't think I'll be making the 2 hour drive for that.

If I lived in the state I would have been there.

Anyone know if Clark & Rector are suspended for the whole tourney?

The dangerous direction basketball is going is "fan apathy". I don't rip on coaches or players
but if the team can't compete competently I have better use of my time. We all want the best for our Mizzou Tigers, but if the program is floundering count me out until it gets fixed.
