I'm not assuming that.
I'm assuming the people who choose not to drive would be traveling by plane (regardless of where in the SEC an event is held, many people would/could drive).

Again, cheapest to fly to ATL than the other airports from most SEC points of origin. Just look at the basketball equation. If UK wins today they can get in a car and drive to the game tomorrow and drive back the same day. Contrast that with getting decent plane with such a short window. Cost is too high for most folks. Not everybody is oil rich in the SEC footprint. Eastern KY is a straight shot down I - 75 to ATL. Also, Atlanta has probably the most SEC fans of any city in the SEC.
