Mark is a State grad? I gave that man a lot of money and he never mentioned that he was a State grad.

I'm not sure what his name is.

I went in there with my girlfriend, I think 2 years ago, when we were playing baseball with my State polo on and he came and sat with us for about an hour and talked about how when he and his wife divorced he moved back to his farm outside of Oxford and opened the restaurant with a friend.

It's more of a "settlement." 4 buildings, one new neighborhood, and no school.

Anthony's is fricking awesome. Better than anything in Starkville by a landslide if you ask me.

Shorter guy, goatee, kind of a scowl on his face? He wasn't angry, but just looked like he was angry.

If he was drinking, it was either Mich Ultra or scotch?

L&M is the best restaurant Oxford has had while I have been around.

Apparently the guy that opened it is in Atlanta now.

I think this is the one. Kind of salt and pepper hair. There was an older gentleman and lady sitting next to us at the bar that actually ended up giving us their tickets to the Sunday game. I went out to their condo to pick them up and the lady was shitfaced and had dropped the bloody mary mix on the stairs and it smelled god awful but they were the shite. Invited us to sit and drink with them for a while.

We went back to the square for a while after that and when we started walking back to the car, kind of by the baptist church where my aunt works, she fricking pulls out of the parking lot and sees us (On a fricking Saturday). That whole side of my family thinks alcohol is the devil, so needless to say I had to talk to her while trying to keep it together.

Goddammit.

I know, I know, CSB.

Mom's family is pentecostal. Dad's family is Baptist.

I'm the black sheep. I feel your pain there, DD.

I've stopped giving a shite and started showing up to family events drunk because IDGAF and I'm 24.

I was sooooooooooooo close to being there and then my dad got sick and so now I'm back to being super sensitive about all that kind of shite. I was so close I could taste actually getting my dad to have a beer with me.

Now that will never happen.

I envy people that can crack a beer with their pops so fricking bad.

My father very rarely drinks. Not because of religious reasons...he just doesn't like it that much.

I have only seen him drink a handful of times.
