Yea, then they sucked their thumb when they lost the '70 ACC final and quit and wandered the earth for 22 yrs

It was a little more than that but okay.

All I know is this, 100% without a shadow of a doubt, if SC had been in the SEC back when Pete played for LSU, he probably wouldn't have come close to being the all-time points leader in the NCAA. But I guess its better to be lucky than good for LSU.

That's all I know though. For a fact.

It has almost been 2 solid seasons since sec basketball did away with divisions and people still don't know

I'm surprised baseball hasn't already followed suit. Especially since the SEC tourny seeds are based off of overall SEC record (except the #2 seed which is kind of dumb)

Huhhhh ????? WT everloving F does this even mean ????

In addition to playing an SEC schedule, LSU regularly played OOC heavyweights in Pete's years
(Marquette, Southern Cal, FSU, UCLA, NCSt, Arky, Memphis, Mizzou, etc.)
How in God's green earth would LSU playing a few games against South Carolina from '68-'70 have caused Pistol Pete's all-time 44.5 PPG scoring average to "not come close"? Are you high ???

And Pete accomplished this in THREE years, with NO 3 point line !!!!
