Regular season ratings are much more important.

But the discussion is about the playoffs. Did you not read the thread title correctly?

Postseason money will have a positive effect for the PAC and B1G because of the eyeballs in their respective footprints. Fail to grasp this simple concept and you will be surprised when each get a playoff slot each and every year. I will not.

[quote]B1G may not be winning at the top but they have the most eyeballs and that means B1G will have a team in the playoff every year. The B1G will probably produce more revenue than the SEC TV deal because they have such massive population numbers and they don't have to share states /markets with others.

I assumed you was saying the reason a B1G team was going to be in the 4 team playoff, was simply because they will make so much more money. Not because they earned it.

Making my point about the network ratings not really being a factor in who actually plays in the games, look pretty good.

Most eyeballs.

I still think the SEC picks the streak back up, even with just one team in it. This 4 team thing may just strengthen what little SEC pride I have.
