The intensity of the pub was due to the hardcore zealot fan base that coalesced around him. He was their champion and the media ran it with. And I have no problem with it.
If black folks become golf fans due to Tiger Woods, why not Christians around Tim Tebow?

As I said earlier, I don't disapprove either. It's to each his own. But I'm not going to pretend like it's not hypocritical to call out one without recognizing the other.
