Had a good steak and a great meeting in Columbia this week, that's a nice little city over that way.

I didn't have time for much socializing this trip but, I did see a few of the spots you all recommended.

Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed it. I could go for some Barberitos right now, myself.

Yeah Columbia is a nice spot. Not a massive city that is hard to get around and is overly populated, but still big enough that it's nice to do.

Of course you didn't have time on your trip but it is also centrally located between the beach, the mountains, and 2 bigger cities in Charlotte and Atlanta.

I didn't have a lot of free time this trip, but did manage to get down to the Carolina Ale house and hit the Texas close by the hotel.

I saw the BBQ place, a Brazilian restaurant and Yamato which looked interesting.

RIght on, that's over on Columbiana drive near Irmo. I've heard really good things about that Brazilian Steakhouse. It used to be a German restaurant that was awesome, but German food didn't have a strong enough following in the market to sustain it.

I love Carolina Ale House. Its awesome during the summer when they open all the windows and the bar upstairs is open air.

Once again thanks er-body, I got up there after dark and remembered somebody posting about the Ale house and it was right down the street.
