Just turned it on, and yeah, its a lot more about "the narrator" than any other 30 for 30 I've ever seen.

The guy is a douche and an opportunist.

Been saying this about Wright Thompson for a while, and I started a thread on it back when the were replaying Roll Tide/War Eagle before the Iron Bowl. He's a d-bag of the highest order.

I don't have a problem with someone making a documentary about what happened at Ole Miss during integration -- hell, most of us southern schools have an embarrassing mark from that era -- as much as I dislike the fact he tried to frame it around himself, his family and a fricking football team.

Wright Thompson's shtick of being ESPN's resident southerner is such a phony facade, and it's getting more laughable with each project he does. Dude doesn't know shite about SEC culture, went to fricking Mizzou, and spent many years in Kansas City. He's the same guy who tried to paint the entire Iron Bowl rivalry as something that started in 2010 that revolves around Paul Finebaum, Harvey Updyke and Cam Newton.
