re: What is the best way to drink absinthe?

Besides this one, a good drink if you like Gin is a corpse reviver no. 2. I've used the following for a few years, its amazing:

1 oz Gin (Beefmaster if you're going cheap, Blue Saph if you aren't)
1 oz Contreau
1 oz lillet blanc
1/2 oz Lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup

Mix all ingredients together, shake (or stir if you don't want to bruise the gin).
Do an absinthe wash of a martini glass, or pour up to a 1/4 oz in if you are so inclined
Pour into glass

drink and repeat :)
