Bingo. The question assume the injury link is proven and people don't give a crap, they just don't wanna see Saban get something he supposedly really wants.

Just so it's clear, though, I'm not taking a stand on their motivations, just on the outcome. I'll leave the former to wiser pundits than I.

Can't really blame them, though. Saban is loving this. All eyes are on him, and they hang on every one of his words. He works the media all over. That's good business. Saban is a brand name, and that name has been brandished on all of college football fans. Win
