I saw these two labs roaming around the neighborhood today near Highland Park. They're both young black labs with white spots on their chests and they're clearly someone's pets. They know sit and are very friendly and playful. They didn't have any collars but I got them in my backyard to get them off the street. Anyone know somebody missing two dogs? They're so good I don't want to just let them go and risk their lives on Highland.

And I'm not a cop so they're in no danger but I really want to find their owners soon

Good on you, man.

Someone will probably post it soon, but there's some page on Facebook that is helpful.

One of them might be mine. She got out earlier in that neighborhood. She's not the one in the picture tho

Had a black lab with a similar white spot on his chest. Good dog.

Did you bring them to a vet to check to see if they have a chip?

I remember one time when my roommate's lab got out years back. It took us a couple days to find him because the people that had him thought he was so good that they let him inside and he slept in the bed and everything. We found him during the day by calling his name out in the neighborhood (southdowns) and he started barking from the backyard where he was. He was back there with a female lab so we he had probably been chasing some arse in the neighborhood.
