Thanks man! 3 days a week lifting doesn’t feel like enough reps. Can I modify it to 4 and just accelerate the plan?

Leg day not listed above, but yea try to one day a week. Not always the best at getting it done though. Definite need for focus.

Below is my upper body push pull routine. I generally try do this twice in a week (4 days) with an additional leg day for day 5 when I can. I’d love to hear some comments on what I’m missing, need to do more or less of, etc. I’m completely “self-taught” and have just cobbled this together over time going to the gym the past 2 years. Thanks in advance for all the feedback.
PUSH
- bench press 2 warm up sets of 8 then 3 sets of 5
- Triceps cable rope pull down 3 sets of 8
- Decline hammer machine press 3 sets of 8
- Incline Dumbell bench press 3 sets of 8
- Shoulder Arnold Press 3 sets of 8
- Skull crusher with ez bar 3 sets of 8
- Abs
PULL
- Pull ups body weight 3 sets of 10-8
- Straight bar curls 3 sets of 8
- Dumbell front raise 3 set of 8
- Face pulls 3 set of 8
- Front straight arm lat pull down 3 set of 8
- preacher machine curl 3 set of 8
- T bar row wide grip 3 set of 8
- Side lateral Dumbell raise 3 set of 10-8
- Abs

Have had one. Absolutely painless although not fun to look at the tools they’re using. Was on an international flight 5 hours later.

100s is crazy low. TRT should get you to 800+ at minimum.

Any recommendations for a program to start with from anyone? I’d say I’m an intermediate lifter. Typically 4 days a week on a push pull routine for the past year.
Also, I noticed some of the examples show doing exercises at %’s. Do I need to go ensure I know my max on all the big lifts first?

Are these here to stay? I keep getting this Green Mountain Energy ad at the bottom of the screen which takes up nearly half of the screen. As you scroll it eventually minimizes to a smaller bar. Is this the future of TD ads on mobile?

Have moved purely to dumbbells for bench. Still have some pain but far less than the bench press. Have been keeping dumbbells at a 45 degree angle and elbows much closer to me.
Hoping this will allow it to rehab a bit. Had some more pain on incline but was towards end of workout so probably just wearing it out a bit.

They said the guard noticed it. Pointed it out to EMT after the narcan and they saw it.

They just had a news conference where someone from the police claimed a security guard at the event was injected with drugs in the neck while doing his job and had to be resuscitated with Narcan by EMTs. What the hell?? Almost too hard to believe.

Went back to the gym yesterday. I could do chest exercises with dumbbells. It wasn’t painless but definitely manageable. I did super light shoulder press with really zero discomfort. Incline hammer was completely fine. It’s all when I do bench press. Wondering if maybe I just tweaked some muscle in the upper chest.

I have no doubt it’s technique. Hoping it will recover from rest.

That’s definitely not what I want to hear. Sort of hoping I can just let it heal up
I have full range of motion. No stiffness. Just hurts to do chest press exercises.

Bench pressing and shoulder pain

I’ve been back into lifting for about 10 months. I can’t pinpoint the moment when I was injured, but it seems like one day my shoulder started hurting when going through my normal press day. Went back to the gym and I have a pretty high level of pain when I bench. Other exercises don’t seem to bother it much if at all. It bothers me some when I sleep, but just an uncomfortable feeling. Pain is primarily at the top of the shoulder.
I’ve more or less taken the week off, but anxious to get back to working out.
Any thoughts on what type of injury this could be?
