I can see why the LSU guy would want to put an extra guy in to protect his QB., because when they play Bama he stays on his arse anyway!
LSU has the best defense against the HUNH offense anyway-the LSU tumble(people who get winded or tired-just hit the turf).
API would do what they do best-cry and whine. Just like they've been doing for 2 wks.now. They sure didn't say anything about a year and half ago when Saban approached the subject.

Nice little role reversal there where its Saban who is whining to have the rules changed to help him.
80% of everyone else just wants to keep it the way it is and learn to work with in it as some schools (LSU and Auburn specifically cited earlier) have been able to do .

There was plenty said then - just disbelief that someone would be so terrified of a style of play that they would even consider changing the rules for everyone else.
Also the reason not much was made of it is that no one knew the cowards would sneak behind their backs and try to get it passed without discussion from everyone. On false pretenses too. Safety,
