I don't like it. Jordan Gross is retiring for the Panthers this week. Clowney will eat the lunch of an NFL Rookie LT.
If he breaks Cam, then we have to go to Derek Anderson (which isn't a bad backup QB option,) but then we'd also have to call back Claussen.. yuck

Clowney would be a monster on the dirty bird team. I would be tickled pink if he was selected in.
I think the Texans are drooling for him and ahead of us in this selection process.
A lot of really good players coming out in this draft it should be interesting.

I wont get my hopes up if Atlanta can't get him....BUT if they did I wouldn't know how to contain myself.

He'd be a huge need for Atl....they had zero DL presence last season...

If Abraham were still on the Falcons, I'd say it's a perfect match. But Clowney may legitimately need another guy on the DL who can really show him how to be a top-flight player in the league. There's not a single person on the Falcons' DL that can be that.

PRAYING the Falcons trade up to get him. Would give up a 2 1st, a 2nd, and a 4th to get him. So worth it. Texans know they can trade back and still get one of Manziel/Bridgewater/Bortles and pick up more picks. It'll happen.

I hope he's there at 6 but don't want us moving up. I think Barr, Mack, Robinson, and Mathews are all great as well. With all the QB's going early we will get our choice between 2-3 of them and I would be happy with any.

The good thing about the Falcons is they will sit him until ready, they nursed Abraham along for years then traded him out on a bad gamble that didn't pay off.
Clowney will make an immediate impact wherever he goes as long as he stays healthy IMO.
He is at the top of everybody's wish list but, everybody is poker faced right now as they should be.
