Speedy no showed about 20 a&m events too, that worked out well.

Exactly. People acting like Johnson no showing at A&M this early in the year is a big statement didn't pay attention to last recruiting cycle.

Congrats to Capers-Smith on getting a full ride.

Serious question to A&M fans. Was the lack of defense last year a talent thing or a coaching thing? Obviously, you brought in some good defensive talent with the last class but how do you feel about your Defensive Coordinator or coaches? I'm asking because I honestly don't know much about him / them. I'd imagine another year like last year and there will be changes??

Snyder won a MNC as a defensive coordinator.

He's not just some shitty coach.

We played like 11 freshmen in the two-deep, many of whom just weren't ready. We were god awful at rush end--either because of playing a true freshman or beacause of shitty older talent. We also had a safety who bit on every play action. Matthews probably gave up 10 TDs this year on busted coverage. We just didn't have anyone to replace him.

We're going to get there. If in 2015 A&M isn't trotting out a top 25 D, then it will be a coaching issue,
