What exactly is "much more upside" than an expected all pro OT, which is what Matthews is projected as. We are talking about two high level OL not two projects.

Teams would be happy with either but Greg is more talented by a decent margin considering the level of the two. He's stronger, more agile, bigger and faster than Jake. Jake hasn't peaked but he's closer to his peak than Greg is due to how polished his technique is. Greg is outstanding with poor hand placement and technique due to his athleticism. The belief is that if Greg were as polished with hand technique he'd be much better than Jake due to his athleticism. Again teams would be happy with either if they life up to expectations.

He's not more agile. Jake has better shuttle and cone drill times.

The overall numbers also just aren't that significant. Greg is more athletic but Jake is rock solid to excellent in every category. The thing is though Jake is a proven run and pass blocker that excelled under 2 completely different (but both pro style) blocking schemes under Sherman and now Sumlin. Ironically under Sherman he was considered a better run blocker and under Sumlin a better pass blocker. The truth is he is great at both.

Robinson has 2 years playing in essentially the same system that is run heavy and not really utilized in the NFL. He was used to overpower guys and that's great but he has to show how he can adapt to pass blocking and more complex blocking schemes.

Both are great prospects. Both have all the tools to be All Pro players. I just think it is foolish to go on and on about how Robinson is somehow "much" better based on some very small differences on a few strength and speed tests.

2012's offense was pro-style under Scot Loeffler, bro.

I really think it is best to let them play NFL football, but I find the combine comparisons interesting and not in our guy is better than your guy way.
