Ga offers license plate with Conf flag
Georgia officials have once again approved a specialty license plate featuring the Confederate battle flag, infuriating civil rights advocates and renewing a debate among those who believe the symbol honors Confederate heritage and those who see it as racially charged.

Why does a Confederate flag even exist? Slavery. The war was about slavery. The South seceded and started a new country 100% because of slavery.
How on earth can you fly that flag and have it NOT be racially charged?

It's going to make it easier to spot white trash from a distance.

Slavery was legal as hell for a long time while the flag of the United States represented the country.
That's a racist flag right there.
That's a racist flag right there.

If it's good enough for my back tattoo, it's good enough for my license plate.

Was the US founded specifically because of slavery and nothing else?

Usually agree with you, genro.
But it's not that cut and dry.
And by that logic many flags are racist.
Was the Confederate flag flying on the ships that brought shackled slaves to this country?
Slavery was most definitely a part of the Stars and Stripes until it was no longer economically convenient.
Although, I definitely understand why there is a racist overtone to the Confederate flag.

I had a friend that was an exchange student who thought the flag was real pretty and shite so she put it on everything she had. It was funny when we finally told her what it was.

Slavery was not "a part" of the CSA. It was the entirety of the CSA's identity

It's remembering a heritage...a heritage of racism.

No. It's not a part of my history. My ancestors never fought for that crap.
It's a part of the history of a region.
