Thats pretty terrible rationale. He shouldn't be shooting it, then... Nobody is telling him to stop doing it, but they need to. I don't understand how anyone can want a player on their team taking these shots when you KNOW they go in at an extremely low percentage. Give it to someone who will take a balanced shot and hit it at 45%.

He's a good shooter, but that doesn't mean he needs to take terrible shots and make his shooting percentage 37%. Its really such a basic team-basketball concept.

The fear he creates in opposing coaches that causes them to double team him has resulted in guys being wide open in the paint for easy shots--Henderson makes a lot of assists without it being noticed.

So it all balances out. If he were not making a high percentage of those crazy shots, the opposing coaches would not be double teaming him....and we would not get a lot of the good looks under the basket that we get
