Austen Smith is our only senior that plays. He and Turnbull are the only 2 that I'd say are definitely gone. I don't think any of our other juniors would be wise to leave, though some will be drafted we don't have any first or second rounders.

We signed the top middle infielder in the state, Chandler Avant. Rated 201 in the country

Top outfielder in the state, Jamal Howard. Rated 159 in the country.

Catcher Matt Morgan is rated 185 overall.

We've got 4 talented bats coming in next year which should provide a little depth. Our DH play was just atrocious, as evidenced by starting Elliot there in the regional. He and Webb both hit lower than .175 on the season

Avant will probably play 3rd next year and Vincent will either move to first or DH. Likely move to first and let Cucjen DH, or put Hughston at DH and have Howard in left. The future is bright as far as talent goes, they just need coaching at the plate

I've heard both ways about Ben Moore. I think he stays. Playing another year of SEC baseball to me, is better than playing Low A ball. One of the guys on the team said scouts like Kamplain alot and could see it either way. I think ultimately they both stay. Team has a chance to be good next year. I agree with all you said about the talent coming in. I'm excited.

And I'll be back in Bham next year to watch them at the Hoover Met
