You think he's got the NFL's best interest in mind?
It's just my opinion.
I've not said that it's a bad thing if it was a ploy. In fact, I said it was brilliant IF it was.

I have no idea...but i'm not going to be cynical and claim its all for marketing. Simply stating a handful of other reasons he could ahve done it.
