So this upcoming season will be year 3 for Sumlin. 2015 will be year 4 and he'll own 99% of the roster. How many games does he have to win, taking his salary into consideration, over the next few years to keep A&M fans happy?

eta; No flaming. I'm just curious because now he's bringing in some serious talent.

Ags should be happy with 8 in 2014.

In 2015 we should expect to compete for a division title. Anything less than 10 wins should be considered very disappointing, IMO.

In 2016 we'll be as talented as anyone in the country. You tell me what that should mean for a team playing in the SEC West.

This fricking division is ridiculous.

For 2014- I expect at least 7 regular season wins. Anything above 8-4 would be a great success. Anything below a bowl bid would be a massive disappointment. I expect 10 wins in 2015. We will have stacked several deep classes on top of each other at that point

I'm not gonna front, our 1st year here was a huge suprise. Last season was better than I thought it would be. I only expected to see improvement ftom Sumlin's teams for the 1st 4 years and expect solid winning after that. As long as we win 7 or better next year I'm happy. I think we should be a 10 win team in 2015 and should be in the hunt for Atl in 2016. This division is tough and no matter how good your team is there is at least 2 that are just as good if not better than you are. No one expects to lose but it is almost impossible not to.
