Yeah, thank you for the entire litany of excuses for failue that Ole Miss fans have been throwing out there for all eternity.
I can sum up your entire post with 2 words:
"We can't"
And nobody in the history of the world has ever truly succeeded at anything when "We can't" is their attitude.
The rest of the SEC ridicules and disrespects Ole Miss because they know it could do better, but is prevented from doing so by the contentedness of the fan base and alumni with mediocrity.
And nobody is going to respect someone who doesn't respect himself, nor should they.
Do you realize that virtually ever state university in the country has had a top 5 finish in either football or basketball in the last 40 years, except for Ole Miss? Even MSU has been to a Final Four. And all of them have disadvantages vis-a-vis other programs in their conference and nationally.
Because none of them think the way you do.....

No, LSU and Alabama have great programs because they have more money and more talent than us. The "want" you speak of, Coach Miles, is there. The things that can transform the "want" to the "do" are the inherent characteristics that the successful programs have, such as money and access to talent.
